When a girl begins to feel uninspired and down about her beauty routine, she must clean out her medicine cabinet. This is the exact feeling I had when I woke up this morning and opened my cabinet to not only find a mess but also no set routine. Due to cold climates on the East Coast, my skin is feeling extra dry and dull. Where’s the sun and moisture when you need it?! Oh, in San Diego. 😉 I did not take before photos because I didn’t think I was going to do a blog post about my cabinet refresh until I realized how great it made me feel – I just had to share it with you guys!

For the most part, there are only skin care products in the cabinet – except for a couple of hair product samples on the top shelf. I used two of my mason jars to hold cotton balls and cotton swabs and a mercury votive for my beauty samples I am currently using. My makeup is hidden in one of my Birchbox boxes (it’s the perfect size for what I use) in the cabinet under my sink along with a basket of my hair tools.

I decided to use my Gold-Rimmed Mug from West Elm to hold my makeup brushes and eyeliners and a mercury votive holder for my lipstick. Then I added some lavender to one of my bud vases for interest. Our bathroom is also utilized as a guest bathroom so I needed to make sure it looks put together but also functional for everyday use.

I also visited the Fresh store yesterday to look for a new face exfoliator – which I found one I love (listed below)! I am obsessed with this store!
