A TRIP TO VERMONT WITH TOYOTA

Snow, trees, icy lakes + streams, a lot of laughs, many glasses of wine and plates of turkey are the ingredients that made up my Friendsgiving in Vermont this year. When we left last Wednesday afternoon and were a little nervous of traveling due to the snow and icy roads. However, we got really lucky because our 2015 Totoyta Camry XSE – that was graciously loaned to us – did a wonderful job getting us there safely. Oh, and I have to give some credit to my husband who is also a fantastic driver! Now let me take you on a little visual journey of our holiday weekend: We did some hiking through the snow and the gorgeous land we were staying on. It was literally Narnia you guys. The pictures don’t do it justice – it was breathtaking walkthrough through the snow and ice covered trees.  Two of Cody’s favorite features on the camry were the paddle shifters on the steering wheel and the automatic brights. The auto brights saved us a few times when we were driving on the backroads to the house and were going over many hills and unable to see cars coming in our direction. My favorite features on the car were the seat warmers, for obvious reasons, and on the side mirrors there is a small light that notifies you when there is a car in your blind spot. That is ideal for this driver (pointing at myself). One of my favorite parts of the trip was when we visited the Simon Pearce Flagship store and restaurant – they had a few glassblowers creating wine glasses in the original Simon Pearce workshop downstairs! I was in heaven. This was the view from the Simon Pearce store!Thank you so much, Toyota, for giving us the opportunity to take the 2015 Toyota Camry XSE for a road trip to Vermont! We are so happy we arrived safely and are big fans of the car now.
