As you may know, Cody and I are in full house buying mode and placed an offer last week on a wonderful home in Boston. Sadly enough, another offer was selected over ours. The seller looked at all of the bids the day after the showing and then asked for best and final offers by the next day at 10am. We decided to go about $12,000 over asking price (not knowing what anyone else was bidding) and still were outbid. We were definitely bummed, but are looking forward to finding the right first home.
Although it’s been a little bit of an emotional roller coaster – we keep reminding ourselves it wasn’t the right place and we will find another one soon. Here’s to more open houses and finding that perfect place to call home! 🙂
