As a Oklahoma native, my heart is very heavy tonight for everyone who has been affected by the horrific tornado in Moore, OK. I feel like I have been watching the news all afternoon/evening…and all I can do is cry & pray. It’s just unreal.

One of my favorite things about Oklahoma is whenever something like this happens, EVERYONE finds a way to help. Oklahoma is resilient. My best friend sent me a video of a 2-mile long line she was in – full of hopeful people with bags of items to donate to the families who lost not only their loved ones, but all of their belongings. There is no other state like Oklahoma and I am so thankful all of my family and friends are safe and sound. My heart is with everyone in Oklahoma. Thank you to all of my friends who are doing their part to help the families in need at this time.

For everyone who is too far to make a personal donation of goods, if you are able to give…please text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief, donate online, or donate by phone at 1-800-RED CROSS. My state is VERY deserving.
