There is no hiding my love for Palm Springs. My first visit was this time last year and I immediately fell in love with everything about vacationing there. You may remember I wrote about my first trips to Palm Springs here and here. I don’t even know how to put into words how much I adore this place. I mean…it’s in the beautiful desert, filled with amazing shops and even better restaurants and bars, has the best places to stay (The Viceroy, The Parker, Ace, just to name a few) and endless pools and cocktails. Heaven on earth? Perhaps. I have decided that Cody and I will own a home here eventually and rent it out when we are not there and fill it with the most beautiful and colorful mid-century modern pieces. *just in case you are reading this, Cody…I hope this is okay with you… 😉

Since our move to Boston, we have been trying to acclimate to the weather and we are finding we really miss the sun. There is something so motivating and inspiring about living in a place where the sun always shines. (I also mentioned I am annoyed with people only talking about the weather lately and here I am…talking about the weather…sorry).  All of the snow is really great and I do enjoy the seasons – but goodness, Palm Springs holds the key to my heart. One of my San Diego friends texted me yesterday saying they were getting ready for their annual weekend getaway to PS and oh how I wish I could just hop in the car and drive there myself.  But because I will have to wait – I will just lust over these photos….
