Say hello to our gorgeous new planters! Did you hear?! @allmodern opened their first physical store in Lynnfield, MA and we had the opportunity to check it out in person last week! Let me tell you, it was not only fantastic to see so many of the products I’ve had my eyes on lately, but it was also really great to reconnect with industry friends I haven’t seen in a couple of years. One of my favorite parts about the store is the tech-first shopping experience, making it incredibly easy to shop and have your items delivered (quickly) right to your doorstep. (They have some cash and carry smaller items though of course too!).

We are potentially updating our powder bath with some wallpaper and a new faucet. We love the Equility single faucet from @dxvluxury in the matte black as we wanted to match our existing mirror + the modern and simple, yet high quality design is just what we were looking for. Though it's easy to find products online now, seeing them in person is still incredibly important to us during the design process. Follow along as we show you some of the DXV products in person at @fergusonshowrooms soon!

I was listening to a podcast featuring James Clear

I was listening to a podcast featuring James Clear (author of Atomic Habits) and I loved how he explained that you don't have to make huge changes in your life to improve your life....it's really in the smaller daily habits that over time really change your life.

I often struggle with anxiety as I know a lot of you do too. So, I am currently exploring different tools that I can use in my day when I start to feel my anxiety creep in. One of those tools that I'm exploring is practicing meditation. As an only child, being alone and in a quiet space has always been a way for me to recharge. Now I'm learning more about the practice and finding the right path for me.

I am grateful for @katyrexingwellness (@katyrexing) for creating a program that has helped me learn more about the practice. Having her accountability as well as her guided meditations have been such an incredible change into my daily routine.

Another tool I am just starting is journaling. I find a lot of peace when I use pen to paper and I'm starting to do that with gratitude lists and working through things via my 5 Minute Journal (which I've had for a couple of years and am just now starting to use).

I am always looking for new ways and techniques to calm my mind and body. So, I would love to hear about your meditation/self care practices & products you use that help you. 🤍
