Boy's Nursery designed by Jessica Packard

I have been working on a nursery design project in preparation for a little boy that is about to make his grand appearance in the world. Just in case you are new to the blog, my freelance interior design company is With Love, Design… and I like to post updates on my current projects and give a lot of before and afters. This one is just a little before + after sneak peek but I cannot tell you how excited I am to share the final photos! My client is already so design-savvy so she had a few great furniture pieces/decor to work off of. I wanted to do something bold and exciting to give this room a little face lift… so I thought what better than to paint stripes on the ceiling?! I knew with all of the white accents and crisp stripes, we would need to give the room some warmth. So, we used Stikwood to add some texture and a more “outdoorsy feel”…and it completely transformed the space! The best part about the wood feature wall and the stripes is the little boy will not grow out of this room for a little while. At least I hope!!

Oh and the guy above?? Oh you know, my cheap labor handyman and fiancee! 😉 He is THE BEST!

Looking forward to sharing more photos soon!
