So it’s approximately 10:30pm on Tuesday (almost too late for ‘Take a Seat//Tuesday’) but I’ll admit it, I have been slacking in the ol’ blog world.  That is only due to some amazing upcoming events!  We have bought the domain for With Love, Design and Jessie Silver (one of my closest friends) has joined the team!  We make a fabulous duo and will be providing many creative interior design related services.
On to Take a Seat//Tuesday…
You probably have seen this chair before, right?? And, I assume if you are reading this blog you enjoy furniture.  Can anyone guess the name of this fabulous chair?
ding ding ding…
it’s zee Barcelona Chair.
Designed by the infamous Mies Van Der Rohe in the 1930’s.
Knoll is now the manufacturer of the Barcelona chair.
Why the Barcelona chair rocks:  The history.  The Romans created a chair that resembles the same type of legs on the Barcelona Chair called “Curule” chair.  Fabulous, do you agree?  Very sleek and contemporary.  It is one of the most, if not THE MOST, famous chair in history.
One of my professors always said they must be designed in two’s.
But the Barcelona Chair, to me, can successfully be solo.
Where this chair would look the best:
your living room
your office
foyer

Where would you put your Barcelona Chairs??
