I have been meaning to share this exciting news for 3 weeks now…but we have had guests on and off since our little girl joined us! She was born on September 29th at 5:02pm. I will skip the details of the delivery, but I will say it was the hardest and most painful days of my life….and yet, the best day. I will forever put every woman who has gone through labor on the highest of pedestals. The entire experience is NO JOKE and there is literally nothing you do before the day that truly prepares you. But man oh man, I am one happy mom (A MOM!!) over here and feeling so much love.
Every day there is something new to learn and a few days have been very tough, but I couldn’t be more blessed to have this little one in my life. I am also thrilled to share this experience with my ridiculously amazing husband, Cody. He has been the most supportive person and tells me every day that I am a good mom. My heart.
a few things about Evie:
+ she has blue eyes (we hope they stay blue).
+ she makes the sweetest sigh noises when she sleeps.
+ her hands are always above her head when she is on her back.
+ she likes looking at windows.
+ she loves the sound of running water & bath time, dancing with her dad, and music.
+ she also loves being in the car, pushed in the stroller and carried in the Ergobaby carrier.
I will definitely share some things baby-related on the blog as I can’t hide the fact that I am a mom and also a blogger and my lifestyle will ultimately change a bit. 🙂 But don’t you worry design-lovers…there’s more to come soon!

I randomly Google the name Evelyn June, as that’s what we named our daughter (7 months). We also call her Evie for short!
